Although the 2019 CIAA Weekend is still many months away, those who attend the biggest party week of the year have begun to reserve their hotel rooms for next year. With the demand for Charlotte hotel rooms already at an all-time high in February due to the NBA All-Star Game, Tournament Week will likely benefit. If you have never been to CIAA Weekend before, where should you stay? Check out six of our favorite options below.

Omni Hotel

132 E. Trade St

The Omni Hotel in Uptown Charlotte is in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, and walking distance to the Epicentre, where dozens of the biggest events and parties every year take place. You can also grab an Uber or Lyft to the NC Music Factory, home to RHOA’s Peter Thomas’ Club One, or grab a bite to eat at one of the many options around. The valet staff are among the best in Uptown for those driving into town for the weekend, and front desk service is outstanding, even in peak times.

Charlotte Marriott City Center

100 W. Trade St

The Marriott City Center is one of the oldest four star hotels in Uptown, however recent renovations including the opening of the M Club Lounge directly off the main lobby is one of the best places to people watch before or after a Day Party.

The Westin

601 S. College St

The Westin has long been a favorite among Tournament Week readers, as the location, and more importantly, the heavenly beds are welcome after a long night partying. With so many new hotel options popping up, some of our followers have mentioned the price as being a reason they may opt for a new spot to stay next year.

The Ritz Carlton

201 E. Trade St

If you have never stayed at a Ritz Carlton before, treat yourself once in life, and book a room for you and your crew during CIAA Weekend. Not only will you enjoy the best level of service you likely have encountered at a hotel, but check out the spa wile you are there, and thank us later.

Hyatt Place Downtown

222 S. Caldwell St

The Hyatt Place delivers with good service, great location, a rooftop dining/bar option, and decent prices for the biggest party week of the year. The only drawback to the Hyatt is there are no parties/events hosted at the hotel, which may be welcome for some readers looking to get away from it all at the end of the night.

The AC Hotel (Epicentre)

201 S. College St

We wanted to include one hotel that isn’t even open yet, but will be in time for 2019. The AC Hotel will sit atop the Epicentre, and will feature 184 rooms and Nouvole Rooftop TwentyTwo, a lounge and bar on the 22nd floor. While the hotel is set to open this summer, TournamentWeek.com has not yet confirmed pricing for 2019.
